Not 1 but 5 excellent speakers from all over the UK are coming together to share their knowledge and experience of the creative grooming industry, from extreme creative to salon creative on live dogs and models. 

 

The only limit is your imagination!!  It’s going to be a fun, creative and messy day! Who could ask for more?

Meet your speakers and demonstrators:

• Vikki Pearman

She has won multiple awards for extreme creative and salon creative over the last 9 years including competing in Ireland and America, winning creative stylist of the year twice and being nominated for the prestigious Liz Paul Creative award multiple times.  She now runs Creative Dog Grooming UK, the home for all things creative in the United Kingdom including the sale of products,  education and The British Creative Dog Grooming Championships North and South.

• Holly Bridden 

She has been creative grooming for around 7 years, competing in the UK and Ireland in salon creative and extreme classes. "Extreme creative is my passion and my favourite design was ‘woofstock’ a hippy 60's inspired creative. I have won a few awards for salon creative and extreme creative including a best in show. I have demonstrated creative grooming at trade shows throughout the UK and I am an ambassador for Mutneys Professional Pet Care Range.  Salon creative is very popular at  my salon in Manchester where I love to promote safe creative grooming to my customers."

• Katrina Allegretti

Katrina started dog grooming in the eighties, where she played about with colour, thankfully now the industry products have evolved greatly.  Coming from a dog showing background, the lockdown gave me the time & opportunity to play again with the Creative side which has become addictive, after gaining my OCNNI Level 4 MASTERCRAFTSMAN Skills in Creative styling & colouring commercial dog groomers MSCCG, I now offer to others Level 3 & Level 4 Creative grooming Accreditations, along with my book 'Dare to be Creative Sparkle n Shine', my aim is to give people the confidence to bring their Creative abilities out of the shadows to shine. Each time we have competed I am proud to say we have been podium placed.

• Micki Morelli-Jones 

She has been grooming for 7 years and playing with colour, but it was not until 2021 with the encouragement of Holly Bridden she decided to have a go at competing in creative grooming classes.  Out of 5 competitions she placed at 4 and then went on to win her first best-in-show at The British Creative Dog Grooming Championships North in 2022.  Micki's poodles and creative grooming have featured in a professional charity calendar and are the talk of the town when out walking.  She has a passion for extreme creative but loves salon creative just as much.

• Cassandra Stephens

She  has competed both in-person & online here in the UK, USA & Canada. "I've been grooming for nearly 5 years and found the love for creative grooming & model dogs in lockdown.  My favourite model dog creation is Bambi which won 1st place at Master Groom earlier this year.  The highlight of my career is just being added to the nominees' list for creative groomer of the year.  I have a passion for model dogs and want to make them more popular in the competition ring by teaching my skills and knowledge to others, enabling them to feel comfortable and confident with creative grooming and model dog grooming".
